Earthenware

Galleri Lene Bilgrav
2022

The focal point of this exhibition is the body and the jar, and the concepts we associate with them. However, we only see hints of these forms because Nanna Riis Andersen is not interested in a direct depiction. Instead, it is the intermediate stages and transitions that interest her. Therefore, forms are only hinted at, and they seem to be somewhere between wholeness and dissolution, and between the fleeting and the retained.
